Dear Moderators,
I am currently attempting to edit myself out of all my posts so that I may self remove myself from this website. Seeing as how my posts have been replied to and many of my posts have been closed, I am in need of assistance removing myself from this website. Currently, I am only seeing the ability to report my own posts, and not to edit them. If someone would be so kind as to direct me as to how to edit myself out of all my posts it would be much appreciated.

Lol, ok then…

That won’t happen. Just sign off and forget you were here. Accounts aren’t deleted, and I’ll doubt the mods are going to waste time helping you self-delete.

Here's an idea. Yall want me gone? Fine. I want no trace of myself on this forum. But it's people like you that make the knife community toxic. I posted a few bad experiences I had with companies. Im deleting myself from this website and moving on. And guess what? Thats what moderators are here for. They are supposed to help individuals. If you arent going to be a positive influence in any way, shape, or form then get off my post. I have had positive knife experiences and negative ones. I wany any trace of my account off this forum. If they won't delete me, then I have a right to ask for me to edit myself out of this website.

Dude. Take a hint. It’s not happening, it’s not policy to delete a user’s history here. YOU are the kind of people making this community toxic. Sign off and don’t come back if you don’t like it here. Last post of your last thread, BY A MOD said as much.

Either help me self delete my account. Or get off my post. You are not a moderator. Read the title. I want the information on these posts removed. One way or another.

Based on the layout and navigation of this site I'd wager it's on a Xenforo platform. I am not a Mod here but I am Admin on a different forum that also uses Xenforo. There is no feature that allows Admin or Mods to delete your entire history, even if they were inclined to do so.

You can request that your username and avatar be changed but that will not remove your posts.
So essentially you are asking someone on staff here to manually find every post you've ever made and delete them individually. I doubt they will do that - I wouldn't.

Again I have nothing to do with this site (other than contribute) and I am only guessing here but...

You should probably just sign out.

Spillproof, I thank you for your honest and straightforward answer. At this point, I am going to have to go in and manually delete myself and all my posts. I can't remove my account entirely without the moderators banning me. Which at this point I would be okay with. This account has started to negatively impact my knife hobby as a whole. I would like for it to stop as such. However I do appreciate your assistance and advice

You can self-ban yourself. It’s a feature that was added for people just like you. Hang on, I can show you how…

I just need my content to no longer be visible by the outside world. And if you are willing to help me "self ban" this account then I am all for it. The common consensus is that nobody wants me here anymore. So I'm gonna dip as soon as my content is gone.
 
Here you go. Two clicks. First click on “Paid Subscriptions” near top right. Then click “Self-Disable lower on the left. Easy peasy. Later tater.

One final question, what member tier do I have to be to have access to that ability? It seems to not be appearing in my current abilities
 
I mean, it’s clearly there as a platinum member. You could pony up the $60 and then disable yourself. 🤷‍♂️
