I have an order for the custom CQC8 with you(well...Mary does the keep track) and this is my 4th year running IF i'm not mistaken. If i may ask; will it be finish any time soon? (Just a question folks so don't fry me by telling me you guys have waited longer than i did...;))

One more questoin sir, How much will the Production version of the Tac Persian and CQC8 retail for?

Thanks John....i'll call Mary at EKI for the ETA on the eight and maybe even join the club and HOPEFULLY...there's still a chance to own the Tac Persian...what a steal at 300 plus!!!:) (thankfully, the Tac Persian is a large folder like the 8 ;) )

No. The Production Persian is Double Ground (Chisel edge).

If your going to grab one, call ASAP. I know at Blade there were a mess of people excited about the ECA Perian.

Eric Blair was carrying one around at the show and sending people over to me for instructions on ordering. No BS, I could have sold close to a hundred if they'd been available at the show.

When you get yours, look at two things.

In a Saber Grip, look down the spine towards the point. Even the Production Perian is impressive, but the ECA tapers on the right side to a needle sharp point.

Secondly, hold the knife so that the point is toward you, knife on it's side, bevel up. Look straight down the blade, level with your eye, point towards you. The bevel is incredible!

Absolutely awesome knife. :D And Ugly sharp!
 
Eric, sorry. I forgot the last question. The Tactical Persian Folder is actually the largest folder EKI has ever produced. the blade length is 4.1 inches, just .1 inch longer then the CQC8 or the Super-C, but it's bigger damn it. ;)

I don't know if you got to draw one from your pocket or not when you saw them at TAD, but your really going to like the P-Tac in this area. The hooked butt really makes the draw a dream.

OK John!!! NOW you've done it!!! I'm Hooked!!!!:mad: Damnit....I MUST HAVE ONE!!!! Be it ECA or Production!!! AAARRRGGGGHHHH....can't breath...falling....deeper...into...Emer-blivion....:p

Anyway, Thanks for the info...really appreciates it and it shows you 'THE MAN' when it comes to Emersons. ;)
