Hey Jeff, Shon, Mike, and All you Rat fans,
My second or third post on BF was about which TOPS knife to get for a hard use fixed blade knife. Some wise man said something along the lines of "No matter what TOPS knife you choose, I almost guarantee you will get a Rat Cutlery RC4."
Several months, posts (lots of which were talking up RAT products), and knowledge gained after... I finally received an RC4 for Christmas.
Let me tell you, that The RC4 is absolutely everything that everyone hypes it up to be. It was extremely sharp out of the box, well, package
, its fit and finish is fantastic, the sheath rocks, and the information that comes with it is top notch. And, despite the fears that I felt that the handle would be too thin and short, it is neither. Fits my big hands perfectly. I think it's pretty light, and it in the sheath glues right to my hip. I'd be more than willing to EDC this blade. I can't wait to start using it.
I'd like to thank Rat Cutlery for such an awesome product. I'd also like to thank them not only for the knife, but for the support they give their customers. For great knives and service, I most definitely will be buying more Rat products soon.
