Dear Santa,
How are you, I am fine.
You must be very busy at this time of the year.
Please disregard my letter, I wrote before asking for a bicycle as I have changed my mind.
Please bring me a different looking knife.
I want an Emerson. It is called CQC mini 7A. It has a spear-point blade.
Please do not bring one with a serrated edge or one that has been dipped in that black stuff.
Could it please have Titanium or stainless bolsters and deep red (maybe maroon) scales?
I have been a good boy and ate all my veggies all year. Even my broccoli.
If you cannot bring an Emerson like that a small classic Sebenza will do very nicely.
Perhaps you can tell me just tell me who can make such an Emerson knife.

PS. If you only have Benchmades left, you can bring the bicycle or anything else.
And remember not to land your sleigh at any of the major airports.
They will search all your bags and take away my knife.
As well as grandma’s knitting needles, Fiona’s nail file and even Cookie’s packet of toothpicks.

Oupa, my DEAR boy. I hear you. It is quite noisy here in the North Pole. As usual, UPS, FEDEX, and the USPS have somewhat bunged up the works as we await parts and goods from Taiwan, China, and Baphuckistan.
Yes oupa, those knives that you collect. I have discovered you are NOT alone. I have an entire hard-drive full of "requests" from folks who just want KNIVES for Christmas.
Oupa, I have been delivering a new Mercedes Benz to this fellow in Texas every Christmas for 35 years. This year, I ASSumed the request would be the same, so I dispatched Elliott the Elf to the Mercedes factory to pick out a beautiful Benz, as this fellow has had a WONDERFUL, compassionate, and Caring Year. Well, THIS YEAR he asks for a Scagel. DO YOU KNOW how HARD it is to find one of those?
I do not know how well Saddie the seeker Elf has done in locating one, but the days are waning. I do really try to answer EVERY Christmas wish for those who have been "nice" and not "naughty".
Oupa, watch the tree. THERE shall be a gift for you. AND YES, I have dispatched Nelson the knowledge Elf, so I can understand what fascinates so many about KNIVES.
We have SURE spent quite a bit of time this year around GRINDING equipment. HO, HO, HO!!!!!
So OUPA, to you and all of those knife-friends of yours, have a VERY Merry Christmas and I have HEARD you!!!! Santa
