i absolutely adore my native. i absolutely adore the s30v blade.. but i also would buy a couple more natives if they came with g10 scales. IMO, the FRN just brings it down on the value scale.

the native is the favorite compact edc spydie of a few folks that i know, so perhaps it's not just me who wishes it would be made available in g10, or even carbon fiber.

i think you'd have a home run hit if you re-issued it in a non-FRN version.. just a thought, thanks for listening!
 
ps - absolutely awesome job on the manix, i can't say enough good stuff about that badboy. it's my upcoming father's day chosen gift :D.. i'm looking forward to future folders in that vein.
 
They made a shell inlay G10 and a blue G10 for Blade forums.
There is a Blue G10 Native on Ebay right now.

that's cool how they made a variation specifically for BF. unfortunately, i'm not a blue guy when it comes to handles.
 
I've got a small, native like spyderco with G-10 handles and Gin-1 steel. It's the blackhawk, which was the precursor to the Native - some of the surplus stores in West Oz are goldmines for old knives because they don't turn there stock over very fast. I haven't used it because I've becoome so Manix-centric....and I just picked up a new Caly Jr which will use any pocket time the Blackhawk woould have got.
