  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Deassisting a 350?

Just have to remove the scale then take out the torsion bar. There should be a few YouTube vids.

Just remove one side G10 handle screws. Once the handle open up, u can see the torsion bar. Easier than Blur.

I sent mine to CharlieMike, he cut a wave and de-assisted it. I like it A LOT better than how it came.

1) Take non-locking side scale off.
2) Remove torsion bar from torsion bar cavity.
3) Put knife back together.
Done!

One other tip. Do this with the knife in the open position. This way the tension on the torsion bar is relieved. Otherwise it could fly out and get lost

Word of caution, mine has a weak detent. Its hit or miss, some are lucky to have a strong one but you won't know until you take a look. I fiddled with it until I got it centered but cannot use the flipper without a little wrist action. Some members suggested cranking down on the pivot but it didn't work for me. I kept mine deassisted since my 0350 is sporting some Kryptoglow scales :)
