Many of you may have heard about the nut job that tried to kill himself by parking his truck on the train tracks here in Southern California. The resulting train wreck ending up killing 11 people (one of the deadliest wrecks in modern history).
I was sad to find out that avid collector Tom Ormiston was one of those killed. Tom was the President of the California Knife Collectors Association and was on the Board of Directors for the up coming Expo Knife Show in Pasadena.
I did not know Tom personally, but I am sure his lose will be deeply felt by many in the industry.
