Debating buying the Scrapivore

I'm seriously thinking about buying an orange Scrapivore. The website says that it's SR-101, but I don't know anything at all about the steel. Does anyone have one? Do you like it? More importantly, how are ergonomics? A lot of people don't like them but I have extremely small hands, I don't know if that makes a difference.

i had one for about a week and got rid of it. just didnt like the ergos. The handle shape mixed with the pry bar end was just uncomfortable. There are several people on here that love them. They are a tough little knife. I currently own a swamp rat in SR 101 and i like it. I havent had any problems with the steel. It holds a good edge, and is relatively easy to sharpen.

The coating looked pretty cool, but it had several fish eyes. Also know that if you plan to wrap the handle with paracord that it will not fit in the mashed cat sheath.

I bought the orange one. The coating was very thin and all the edges of the spine and grip area showed through. I ended up stripping it. The knife itself is nice and I don't regret getting it. As with the other SC and SW knives that I own, the Scrapivore is a good value. This is the first time that I was disappointed with the coating.

Bought a pink Cupidvore for my wife during the last ganzaaa - she much prefers the ergos on the ESEE Izula, as do I... You also get a sheath WITH the Izula and for $13 more you can add micarta grips...

With that said, SR101 is a fantastic steel that gets crazy sticky sharp, however, Rowan's 1095 is not too far behind.

Needless to say, I sold the the 'vore.

EDIT: sorry to bash Bussekin so much in my post - I love them.

I own a Scrapivore and love it however it isn't for everyone the handle takes a while to get used to and the pry bar handle is a bit awkward.
