Debating thinning scales of ZT 0200 or?

I am trying to decide whether to get a ZT 0200 like I used to have and then sand the scales down to thin them out or simply get a BM 275 which may or may not have thinner scales. Problem is I have no idea how relatively hard it would be to thin the scales on the ZT.
Any thoughts are much appreciated.

I carry a ZT 200 often(most days in fact). I'm also interested in this because I also think it would be better with a flatter profile like the ZT 301.
