I met this maker Debaud at a show in Belton Tx. The beautiful orange micarta jumped off the table at me. It is one thick piece of carbon steel, you can see it next to my Emerson CQC-10. I bought the knife a few months ago and never had a sheath to carry it in. I took it to my friend Thomas the Knife Sharpest of Austin, who put a razor sharp edge on it, and while I waited in his shop he came up with this Kydex cross draw. Love the knife and the sheath, both these guys do great work.

Is it ugly or not the right type for this forum? Or both? Just wondering why no comment.

Jake DeBaud makes some REALLY nice stuff these days. Another bonus is that his prices are quite reasonable...check him out. And by the way, the bright orange/yellowish handle is mighty easy to see if you lay it down in the woods somewhere. Yes, I like the knife!
