Debit Card Rejected

Hi Guys; I've tried several times to pay for a makers membership with a visa debit card, but rejected every time. I thought it could be used anywhere visa is accepted. I'm in the u.s.,money is there and card is valid. Can ya help meeee.....pleeeaaaaasssssee?
 
Are you a US member, with a US billing address? Are you using the EXACT billing address as found on your statements?
 
Didn't use my middle initial but everything else is exact.Let me try again.I'll let you know.
 
Hi Spark: Tried two more times with no luck. Been in same littletown u.s.a. all my life and info was exact as my bank statement. Went thru old system with no problem. Now you owe me five bucks! [kidding of course] Sorry to cause you more hands-on work.

Hey Randy,

I had some trouble getting my payment through about a month ago. One thing I learned was you have to enter the "hash mark" in the card expiration date, like MM/YY rather than MMYY. Also, if it gets rejected for a mismatch or other reason, exit all the way out of the payment screen and go back in for another try.

Thanks for the info, did that. After five trys, I just payed the extra $5 and it worked thru the old system. Don't know what I was missing. Just sorry to create more work for the administrators but happy to help support.

Well,just checked my emails and my card was declined there too. So,as I was approching "jerk" state of mind, I called to find out why Bladeforum would'nt take my money. The call is connected, a voice comes on the line & says "Hello,this is Keven". "Spark??", I say. "Yah, it's me" he says. I'm in disbeliefe! Attitude change! I've always respected someone who tends to their own business!! Card or no card, I'll get money there!. If you spend much time here and think about a membership,spend the few dollars to support this site. It's here for US!!!!!!

Heck yeah. I had similar troubles with a gold membership that hadn't activated after a few days, and Spark had it fixed within 30 seconds on the phone. Can't get much better than that. :thumbup:

Hey Spark - just tried to sign up for gold membership and both my debit and credit cards were declined (several times) because they didn't match my current address.

The transaction resulted in an AVS mismatch. The address provided does not match billing address of cardholder. (27)

Both were entered exactly how they're entered at my bank. Should I just try back later?

AVS decline is still a decline. What you are seeing are holds on your account, they will drop off in a couple days. No reversals need to be made.
