Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Merry Quanza, and for pagans like me, Happy Winter Solstice.

No kidding, pretty simple, not too time consuming and lots of creative potential!

I'm almost Beckerhead qualified, so I'm probably going to want to try this. My question is do we get to use the decorations as well, or just the tree?

Be creative. You might note I said Christmas Tree and not indoor fir tree. :D

Looks like this could be fun, good luck guys :).

That said, I'm not going to change my membership just to compete.

And I'm kinda bummed that I didn't get to enter into the last contest, but I just got overwhelmed with school (turned in twenty page and four page papers yesterday, with eighty, twelve, and two page papers due by Tuesday of next week).

What the Moose said about cheap trees right before christmas is right on. At my job, about 3 days before christmas they start giving them away, big ones, little ones, expensive ones , free. So that kinda stuff does happen.

I"m gonna have to look around to find me a tree. If I can't though I'm gonna use my fake tree with 13 in hand the whole time. That means I'll build it one handed :D

Can I send you cash Moose to become a paying member?

Its all automated here, you can do paypal for it, as one of many ways. Spark has lots of ways to take yo' money

can I use a Christmas Juniper instead of a pine tree?
and if yes - do I have to chop it down and bring it inside first?

Christmas tree. How you get it makes no difference to the contest or me. Douglas fir is quite common too.

OK - I'll even remember the splash of mead and a few crumbs of bread on the ground before I build my yule fire and start to imbibe.
