Front page has a story on Traditional knives by Mike Robuck with quotes from the Old Dog.

Bottom of front page - a story on Spatula blades.

Going to be a great evening sitting back and reading this even with this darn flu that has kicked my rear end.

Damned goats must've eaten my copy. Hope I get one in the mail soon.

Congrats, Mike and Tony. I'll look forward to some good reading.

Thanks fellers. I haven't seen it yet, but all of those photos with the story I wrote are by Kerry Hampton. Wouldn't be the same story without them.

Mike,

Really enjoyed your piece. It is well researched and well written. I enjoyed reading that historical perspective and the quotes from Tony and Pete fit in well. I leaned a good bit from it and it offers a lot of food for thought that will take place on one of the cold winter evenings coming up.

Almost as important, but not quite. "Thank God Mark did not use any of your avatar's." ;)

I haven't seen that paper in years. Any shows in Massachussetts?(marlboro specifically)

Congrats Mike and Tony!

How much do y'all figure an issue autographed by the authors will fetch on the collector market? :)

Thanks Mike. When I show the paper to my friends and family they'll say, "Suuuuuuure you did " :D

Kerry, I'm going to hand write attribution on every photo caption. Seriously, those are some great photos and we wouldn't have been able to do that story without them.

Shoot, I shudder;) to think what this forum would be without both of you as well as Kerry's photos.

Oh comeon....SING!...you know you want to. :D

Na,
You guys and gals would much rather listen to frogs a croakin' then me a singin' I can guarantee that without a doubt.

There's a difference? :D

Hope you're better soon. I've got at least half a dozen friends who are sick right now.

This thread reminded me - again - that I needed to renew my subscription. Dot said she'd start me at December, so I wouldn't miss any of that knifey goodness.

thx - cpr
