I have to second Ben's Backwoods, I just got a steel and flint a few days ago, love it, I'm putting together a mountain man possibles bag with only stuff they had a hundred years ago. Their shipping was cheap and fast.

I got a great deal on a hudson bay tin style flint and steel kit on a popular auction site. Much less than they go for elsewhere.
