Deceptive
For being around a 10" long piece of 1/4" thick steel this one is deceptively light strong and well balanced (Unlike the maker
)
This one is for practice done in ¼ O1 tool steel
The other two are getting done in ¼ 154cm
Designed to lay flat and out of the way until needed.
Hollow on reverse of blade is tricky but facilitates a Straight razor edge while maintaining as much strength as possible. Reliefs in the handle make it a truly balanced and deadly tool.
Thanks to a friends suggestion there will be a bit more style in the final version.
Scale on the flat side will be thin Carbon fiber or textured Titanium. Top side will be ribbed for Uber grip. Still deciding on the top scale style/material. There are pics in my Gallery of it ready for a Cerakote finish
Thanks for viewing my work and to all who support this crazy obsession of ours!
