Decision Dilemma

Ok folks,

Here is the situation.
I have a Camillus BK9 that I really like. Have had it for years,
stripped it to the steel, and just love it. (Pic below)

Recently, I've been thinking about getting one of the KaBar versions.

My problem, is this, first, I'm only going to get one (due to finances),
so I have to chose.

Do I get the BK7 to augment the BK9, or do I get a new BK9 and have
2 of them?

Like I said, I really like the BK9, but also really like the looks of the BK7
"a lot".

Which do I chose?

Personally, I would get another 9, if I were you. Save the out of production Camillus version, and use the holy living heck out of the Ka-Bar one. It's not bad to have a back up. Then save your pennies for a BK-2.

Interesting thoughts. The Cam-BK9 has been a work horse for many years, has been
beat on more than a few times, and has held up excellently.

Tough decision, but I know that whichever one I choose, it will be a quality product
that will last for years.

Cheers

Tough decision and even tougher question. And, not a new question at all. (7 vs. 9) There is probably not one of us here that doesn't want ALL of the Beckers.

You already have a 9 that obviously you are not afraid to use. Being as you have put it through its paces it would have little value to a collector. So, I am with rmc85. My advice (in direct answer to your question) would be to keep using your 9 and buy the 7.

but...

There has been a LOT of comparison of the 7 to the 9. Since you already have one of the "Combat" knives, have you considered the Campanion?

between 9 & 7 make it another 9,if not the 9 I agree with Bridgeman & CallsThunder
BK2 (the Becker train wreacker) it's a beast.

I never buy anything to be a collector's item. I guess that's why I say get the 7 and keep using the 9.

The BK2 might be a better companion, lol, to your BK9. If the choice is strictly between the 7 and 9, I would go for the BK7 as redundancy is not conducive to usage.

im getting both you guys are killing my wife...MWAHAHAHAHA then the tactool and the bk2.

I've got a number of smaller knives in the 8 inch range and smaller.
Nick Allen and Bussekin products primarily, so I'm pretty much covered that way.

Only have a World War model Khuk and the BK9 as far as big knives (8 inches +)
so I think I'm going to get another BK9....unless there are plans for a bigger
Becker....Ethan???? :D
