Well...I've lurked here for a couple of years or so...off and on...

I've finally taken the step and ordered a small regular Sebenza from another Forumite Archieblue....

Now begins the infernal wait...

I can't wait to see what all the fuss is about...and whether its worth it!!!

Congrats!!! I think you made a great choice as to the specific model. I've got two regular small Sebbies. One is plain and the other has a unique graphic. BTW the wait is worth and you'll only need about 30 seconds with it in your hand to figure out what the fuss is about. Let us know what you think.

I was in the same spot a about 6 months ago. I've owned a lot of knives, but my Stars & Stripes Sebenza is by far the most money I've ever spent on a knife. More than anything, I question why I didn't buy one sooner and take the step up to more quality and less quantity. You won't regret the decision. A Sebenza and a nice 1911...sounds like a winning combo, doesn't it McVay? ;) geegee

geegee,
That remains to be seen! But all you guys can't be wrong...I've got my fingers crossed....

Of the Sebenzas I own, the small, plain, regular is my favorite. I think you'll really enjoy it. Mine gets the most carry time/use anyway. I'd rather pair it with my HK P7M8 than a 1911 though.:D
When yours arrives, spend some time studying it, really looking at the fit and finish. Open it slowly and feel the lock "click" in.
These are truly exceptional knives.

btw, might as well start saving for your next one now.

I have both the regular and classic. They are two of the best purchases I've ever made.

No kidding!
Just ordered my 8th today. The arrows pattern Umfaan. I belive it is the 2000 year design? My fist Umfaan. I've been waiting quite a while to get the Umfaan and finally decided I needed it to round out the collection. Wood inlaid classic 2000 is next on "the list".
