Have the urge an not sure what to go for.. kind of all over the place here.. but will just be for EDC and go into rotation or many.

I have a Black/Black Pacific Salt already, but would love to try the full SE in H1 (maybe yellow).
Had the pre- FFG Endura and didn't really care for it.. but the FFG Blue has my attention.
Never tried a Caly yet (3 or 3.5). Just going to get the G10 VG10 version of the 3.5 if I get one.

So what should I grab?

I've owned and used many Spydies and Caly 3.5 is my all-time favorite edc. For me best ergos, slicing, look, and it rides low in the pocket.

Thats a tough one. Since they all cut stuff pretty much the same, the rest is so subjective that only you can figure out what you like best. I have the 3 and 3.5 Caly, plus the blue ffg Endura. If someone told me to pick just one, I would go with the 3.5 Caly. Mr. Sal has been able to squeeze a huge blade in those small scales, and I love the deep clip. But the blue Endura is sweet, and is one of Spyderco's flagship models for a reason.

There is no wrong answer here. Just pick what you like. It also depends on whether you want to spend $60 or $120.

Caly 3.5. It's my favorite model for the reasons that Toadsticker mentioned. Unless you demand hard use from an EDC, it's hard to beat the Caly design.

Caly 3.5 for the reasons listed above. Mine in super blue is my EDC. You won't be disappointed.

I would pick up a Caly 3.5 also. I only have a Caly 3 ZDP, but to me it would be no contest. I would only pick up the SE Salt if I had a specific role to fill, but general EDC would be the Caly.

You could just about get the Endura and the Pacific Salt for the price of the Caly 3.5... just saying

If you like the blade length of your Pacific Salt the Caly3.5 is a great choice.

I believe that VG-10 is a better EDC steel than the SuperBlue, good option!

I'd pick the Caly 3.5 because I don't have one and have been eying them recently. I have a FFG Endura, and it is an awesome knife. Haven't handled a Pacific Salt, but I used to have a SE Salt I. It was very reminiscent of a Delica (which is good), so I'd expect the Pacific Salt to be very Endura-like.

I agree Caly if you want a little more refinement and slicing ability. The Enduras are great and come in colors at a very attractive price.

But the blue Endura is sweet, and is one of Spyderco's flagship models for a reason.

I wouldn't call them a flagship as much as a mainstay. If they were BMWs, the Endura would be a 328I not a 760IL.

And the Persistence would be a BMW Cruise :D

I agree. Plus from the metal composition, I don't think SuperBlue is stainless (Cr content too low). I would go for Caly 3.5 for overall compactness. If you want a 4" blade and same material and similar compactness to the Caly 3.5 (no low riding wire clip, sadly), look for the current sprint run, Calypso. Almost same price as well.

Out of your list I would take Caly3.5 without a second of hesitation.

Super blue is definitely NOT stainless. It actually stains easier than anything I've ever used. I tried everything, Eezox, Frog lube and Tuff-glide marine and it still developed a patina. I gave up, accepted it and now I like the patina. The plus side of super blue is it takes a great edge and holds it.

My sprint run Caly 3 super blue and Native 5.
