So I got a little early Christmas money to spend at one of my favorite online knife dealers, and would like any feedback you guys have on suggestions.

I've got about $450 to spend, but wouldn't mind footing a bit more for the right knife.

Current contenders:

1. Three sisters forge gorgon
2. Ferum forge ferox (4V spot being stainless has me hesitating though)
3. CRK Sebenza 21 with Micarta inlays (already have a 25)
4. Lion steel Tispine (maybe the Damascus, or the niolox and a little left over?)
5. Spartan Blades Akribis (only worried about coated blade)
6. Strider SNG (if they have any in stock :( )

To give you guys a good idea, I like flippers and thumbstud opening knives about equally, I orefer bearings on flippers, and washers on non-flippers. My most common carry is a Shirogorov Mod95T, and also my Diskin Fire. My Sebenza makes it into that lineup fairly often too, but those are about it for now that are EDC (not counting a Bali, but don't really need another one of those right now ;) ).

Any suggestions are welcome, but I'm not really willing to spend more than $150 out of pocket ($600 total), and the knife will be coming from a dealer, so it will be at the new price. If anyone wants to know exactly which dealer, PM me. Not sure if I should post here or not.

Thanks guys.

Let's see the Spartan Akribis looks promising. Southard Avo or Tolk if you can get your hands on one. Strider SJ-75s, my favorite knife right now. Micarta Sebenzas pretty much the perfect edc. Custom knife factory has some sweet designs coming from Russia. And honestly you can get some sweet titanium bearing flippers for a third of the cost from offerings from Reate. A chinese based knife manufacture. Check out the Hills flipper.

Wilson Combat Eagle, by Les George is calling my name. I just cant justify that much on another knife. Right now my Sebenza 25 and SG Bad Monkey are eating up all the pocket time

Edit...

Just noticed you have credit at a dealer, so the Eagle is out. If you like Balis the Protech FlyFather is badass! If I was going to buy a bali, that would be the one.

The Spartan Akribis is one that caught my eye a few times, and I've thought about it a lot. Honestly the only thing really holding me back from them is the facct that all of their blades are coated, and I'm not a fan of coated blades unless the steel is less than stainless (D2 or less), but you know, I guess they could be a serious contender from what I have heard about them. Some people have even comapred them to CRK, which is high praise as far as I;m concerned.

You know, the SJ-75 isn't my taste, but I have been wanting to get another SNG ever since I sold mine. I may have to look and see if the dealer has some in stock, or will be getting some soon.

Custome Knife factory doesn't vend to the dealer in question, or I would honestly be all over them. I've been looking at one of those for a while. I have considered Reate quite a lot, and everything I've heard so far is good. Bought one for one of my friends, and he loves it, but I want to see what the long-term reliability of it is, especially since its coming out of China, and any warranty or repair work will take time. Will probably get one, just not right now.

I'll add the Akribis and the SNG to the list.

I wish they also carried SG bad Monkeys, but I haven't seen any on the sight in question, and the Eagle is Wilson Combat only yeah, but they're both excellent suggestions, and definitely on my buy later list ;)

Might have to look more at a flyfather too...one more bali can't hurt ;)
