So I'm trying to decide what folder I want to buy next, and I could use some input.

What I'm looking for is an inexpensve EDC folder, ~3" blade, < $50. Here are my current options:

1. Kershaw mini Cyclone
pros: I really really like the design. I trust Kershaw.
cons: Linerlock, a bit heavy

2. Leatherman E304X
pros: Handled one in a store and liked it's feel a lot. 154 CM. I don't have a Leatherman yet
cons: Linerlock

3. SOG Flash I
pros: I like SOGs. Deep pocket clip.
cons: AUS8, not sure about design

4. CRKT Full Throtle
pros: I like the design. Framelock.
cons: Not sure about CRKT. AUS8. Dont' like those "gold" crews.

I'm leaning more towards the Leatherman, but I really like the Cyclone design, and saw some good reviews of it. The other 2 are sort of nagging at me

Out of that list, I would choose the Kershaw, hands down!!

AUS-8 is good steel when properly heat-treated. It has been around long enough for major manufacturers to know how to do this. It keeps the price of the knife reasonable.
