So my delema is I am interested in Giantmouse m390 copper handle knife...
I don't know if I could stomach using a knife for 200$ ?..

I also am interested in bear ops s30v rancor 2 ... that is affordable and I actually can use.

I suppose the best option is a knife I'm not afraid to put to work.

Yes Thank you.

I'm familiar with those brands.
I'm not a fan of spyderco being that they appear all similar to me.

You’re looking at it all wrong. It’s not about the price at all. If it will bring a smile to your face when you use it, get the Giantmouse. It’s a cutting tool. I paid 2 grand for a Bosch jackhammer, I could have bought a cheaper one, but I know the Bosch will be reliable and hold up to hours of use.
Sometimes the better tool is worth the price.
It only hurts until you get the first scratch/personality mark on it. ;)

I think everyone gets into the hobby with different budget and reason. There's no pressure to either use or collect your knives, so as long it makes you happy and it is what you want.

If it's the copper handle that's drawing you to the GM, you might enjoy the Kershaw Natrix for a lot less. I have a mini and I enjoy it.

I saw that one too.
It's also the 390 steel used and blade shape I liked on the giantmouse...
