how much value does a decorated pin on a mnandi add to the price. would really like to have just the pin, does anyone know if CRK will sell a decorated pin or maybe even a plain one?

I was informed that the decorated pins were used only on tradeshow knives. The knives were then ultimately sold, which is why they are out there. It is not an available option.

I was hoping to get one with my snakewood mnandi, but no dice.

Here are two examples:

I sold this knife:

I still have this knife:

the Damascus how much now?
I'm not sure if your question is to me, but if it is, the damascus Mnandi is my keeper. I just dearly love it.

i thank everyone for the replys, but no one has answered my question about the cost of the decorated pin.....they are nice though.......

It's my understanding that the pin is not sold separately. I read a post one time that stated that the pin versions are ones Chris Reeve takes to shows. Possibly someone else can chime in as I'm only recollecting this information from reading former posts. I did see some pin versions being sold at TrueNorthKnives a few months back though.

The few that I've seen for sale did not go for a premium over the equivalent Mnandi.

I have one as well, I think I got it at the Blade Show or perhaps Plaza Cutlery online several years ago.

Thanks,
