Can anybody tell me if CRK will do custom designs on the Sebenza. If so how much. If you have pictures of decorated sebenzas please post them here.

Thanks

<A HREF="http://www.chrisreeve.com/computergraphic.html" TARGET=_blank>I just got the "Trailing Moon" design a few days ago. The picture does not do it justice. It is nice.

The first knife was probably used to cut stuff.

Glockman - to answer your question, it depends entirely what kind of a design you have in mind. The unique graphics are drawn free hand on a milling machine and it is difficult to duplicate a graphic. The other way to go is to scan a graphic and write CAM for it but, especially on one kife, that usually is very expensive. The best way is to contact us direct with your graphic and we can take it from there.

Snowman, wow those are beautiful flys. It looks like at least one of those was a non polished finished, both handle and blade. I've been wondering about the durability of the polished. I'm sure the matte finish would hold up slightly better.

Personaly, I plan on picking up a plain this weekend, getting used to used to my new baby, and then ship it off for 3-4 weeks to get a silver contrast fly and doule thumb stud put on.

I sure wish they would do computer generated graphics on CLASSICS!!!!!

I'm "pretty sure" I like the feel of the Classic slightly better and I definately prefer the blade shape...

jonny, that's a great design, one of the best I've seem. Bold, Minimalist, Strong.

The flatbed scanner doesn't really do the small-Sebenza design justice but I knew the moment I saw it back in 1995 that I liked it, and I've enjoyed it ever since . . .

The "other knife" is a CRK Lock-45, circa 1990/91, serial number 13 (my birthdate) . . . beautiful piece of work . . . wonderful blade . . . I love blades with "noses".

Scott,

Maybe Chris will make another for you, fine by me, I'll even send you a scan if needed.
I'll still have a unique righty!
