Decorated Small Sebenza - Scratches

Anyone carried a small decorated Sebenza in a tight leather sheath? I just purchased a tight horizontal leather sheath and now am paranoid about putting the knife in for the first time, for fear of finding micro-scratches when I remove it.

I would appreciate feedback from anyone who carries a small decorated Sebenza in a tight leather sheath.

You are gonna get scratches eventually, I suggest just diving it into the pouch and never look back,

But if you are real serious about it then try breaking in the pouch with another knife..........

I've been carrying my small decorated sebenza for about 2 months in one of Gary Graley's canted sheath. The sebenza fit is very snug against the leather. No signs of any scratches what-so-ever

Greenie; I carry my 'Benzas in nylon pouches, and they do not scratch at all. I would not hesitate to use leather as well.

Are you aware of the Chris Reeve Forum on BFC? It is in the 'makers/mfgrs' forum. You can pose questions there, and there is a terrific FAQ's section compiled by James Segura aka 'Stjames.' This FAQ is truly comprehensive and well worth perusing. I find myself referring to it fairly often.
