Help you guys! I am in a bit of a dilema. I have a choice to make. I can't decide whether to get a custom sheath from Eric at On scene tactical or to get a sharp maker. I have a stone and Im decent with it bu the sharpmaker is calling. I have sheaths for the knives I want custom sheaths for but Eric's work is soooooo good. Help me choose.

While I think 65535's idea is pretty solid, considering your two options, that is a pretty tough situation. You don't really need either of these since you have sheaths and a stone.

I think I would go with the Sharpmaker though. As long as the sheaths aren't giving you trouble, a sharper knife is a bigger priority IMO.

The absolute best option, as I know people are going to suggest, is to just get both

i would say get good freehand sharpening, then reward yourself w/ a new sheath for your fav (and now sharpest) knife.
