Dedicated Employees ??

I was under the impression that when the Schrade employees showed up for the last shift, they were told the doors were locked and Schrade was no more!

It appears as if some dedicated employees somehow sneaked into the plant and produced some final knives, after making a stencil in order to etch the blades on these last knives. Look at 6604670071 on e bay.

What? You mean these aren't for real???

Maybe these should be marked "Second Run". It seems the "authentic" SMKW etched ones had a padlock in the art, if I'm not mistaken. So these are non-authentic copies of a non-factory etch on an Irish knife, which factory was indeed locked before the Ellenville operation. March of '04.
