Looking for any feedback on Deep Blue watches. I ordered the AP Chronograph as a birthday gift for myself; it seemed to get good reviews from what I found. Anyone have experiences they want to share? Good, bad or indifferent.

This watch has taken a little getting used to. It is a little heavier than what I am accustomed as well as a little bigger. I have been wearing it daily now for the past 9 months.
Keeps good time, I lose about 3 minutes per month.
It feels indestructible and is wearing very well, Lume is great and Sapphire crystal is Unblemished.
I have no complaints and would recommend a Deep Blue watch.

That AP Chrono looks like a great watch and a steal at the price.
Best of luck

I used to have an AP Royal Oak chrono. I loved it. Awesome piece of horology. It has a superior movement than more iconic Offshore chrono, as well.

I have the base model T25. The first one quit within days of arrival. Deep Blue quickly and apologetically replaced it, suspecting a bad battery. I have had the replacement for 5 months with no issues. It loses about 5 -8 seconds per month. More importantly for me, I don't plan to ever have another watch without tritium hands.

That is the biggest issue with Tritium watches - not being happy with other watches that don't have tritium.
Every time my Traser goes in for a new battery I go nuts for the week it's away, then wonder why all watches don't have tritium when it comes back

Got the AP Chronograph today....pretty impressed so far. Feels solid and fit/finish seem spot on. Size is good for me; don't think I would want anything much bigger.

That looks pretty sweet. Is the face actually textured, or just printed with a textured pattern? Whats the WR? Does the chrono work under water?

The face does have slight texturing and the WR is 200m. Not sure about the chrono working under water; haven't tried. I buy watches with chrono more for the looks anyhow.

what is a tachymeter for and how does it work on a watch

a tachymeter is used to measure speed when used with the chronograph
