Here's a knife and sheath I just finished up. I purchased the blade from Polar and had a blast fitting a handle and making a customer sheath for it. Learned a lot from the build and the many tutorial videos posted by Mr. Wheeler and Mr. Long. Have to say fitting the bolster was the hardest part of the whole process.

I'm always looking to improve so comments and critiques are more than welcome. Thanks again.

Handle: Stabilized Curly Maple
Spacers: Nickle Silver and Vulcanized Fiber
Bolster and Retention Nut: Nickle Silver
Blade: Polar Carbon Steel
Finish: Truoil

I'm really enjoying looking at that knife !
The handle is like solidified smoke.

The sheath is also

I wouldn't change a thing .

Agree that the knife looks really nice to me. Always prefer a handle without any pins. Yes, the bolster fitting looks very good and your custom sheath is pretty. I like the whole package. How is the balance of the knife?

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback!

The balance point of the knife is about an inch away from the bolster on the handle side. Is there a stand rule of thumb for the balance of the knife? I assume it depends on the use of the blade.
