Is there an after market deep carry clip available for the 21? How does the stock clip ride in the pocket?

Yes there is a deep cary option. I will go dig mine out and show you what it looks like.

You need a "clip delete" filler tab to use it. So it will sit inside the pocket clip channel and then this pocket clip attaches to it. The company I got this from sent one with it. I am trying to remember the name of the company but can't remember right now. I will post the link to the site when I find it.

Best way to describe the pocket clip is a ZT version of a Hinderer. Like what is found on the 0560 series. It is titanium, mine is anodized bronze, I will probably change the color at some time, but for now it is what it is. It sits VERY deep, the entire knife will sit below the pocket. It is a great clip. I love the Sebenza clip, but this is nice also.

It will fit an Umnumzaan, 21, or 25.

This picture shows the back piece it attaches to.

Here you can kinda see how I think it resembles a ZT clip.

And this shows how deep it sits in the pocket.

Do not post links to unsupporting dealers.

I tried one of those deep carry clips. Two issues for me - first, the retention wasn't anywhere near the stock clip .... which is possibly the best pocket clip I've ever seen/used on a knife. Second (and most important), the clip WRECKED the lines and overall look of a very classy knife.

I wish there were a deep carry clip that matched the Sebenza's bead blasted titanium. It's a shame CRK won't make their own.

While I agree with both your issues, the DEEP carry is its sole purpose, which it accomplishes. Agree that the retention isn't as good, it's also never been a problem for me when carrying so deep.

Crk just needs to make a deep carry clip to show all other companies how it's done. There is no reason why I should have a half to three quarters of an inch of my knife exposed both to the elements and unperceived damage or to a hyper sensitive society ready to be offends or scared from so much as a bee fart.

Completely agree. There's no good reason why CRK doesn't offer it as an option. If Chris doesn't like them, that's great, but a good portion of knife carriers do.

I'd gladly pay $50 a pop for deep carry CRK clips.

I have never owed a deep carry clip but this is exactly my thoughts of it.

Why take the best pocket clip off your knife? Why would CRK make a deep carry when the already have the best pocket clip made.

Because choice is good, and customers have asked for it for years. They could easily make a deep carry clip that doesn't sacrifice retention. Why have half an inch of knife poking out of your pocket? It's certainly not easier to grab hold of, and ignorant citizens who scare needlessly can easily see that you're carrying a knife.

There's really no reason for them NOT to offer the option. It wouldn't take much effort to engineer / manufacture. If people want the existing clip, all the knives ship with it. They'll be happy. For those who want deep carry, they can pay extra for it. They'll be happy, and CRK makes more money. It'd be a win/win for all.
