My favorite tree. This one is just covered with Spanish Moss and has several dozen Air Plants all over it. Even has some small Ferns growing on it also!

Only Bass of the day... Too small... In our defense, we were playing around with a whole bunch of different top lures just to try out some new stuff.

Heddon Torpedo. Not much luck with this one today, but a beautiful day in good company just the same!

And finally, lunch...

Three Bream, I probably should have spent more time fishing and less time taking pictures, but I don't usually bring my camera out there with me and wanted to get some shots to share.

Almost forgot: obligatory knife shot!

Looks like a beautiful place to fish brother. It may be a small bass, but the colors & pattern look nice!

Thank you kindly! It is paradise!

I wish I had taken a picture of the bigger of the Bream I caught (and ate). That one was a Stumpknocker (Spotted Sunfish), talk about beautiful colors!

Great pics. Everything is so very different from the places that I fish. Few things compare to a day on the water with a good friend, fish or no fish.

Nice catch!! Looks like a great place to fish and I like fishing for pan fish more than some larger fish.....

Great pictures..thanks.

Thanks guys! It's a beautiful little stretch of creek and is a blast even when we don't catch anything. Charlie and I took my son out the other day and only caught one bass and one tiny little bluegill but it was a beautiful day just the same!

Some shots from that trip:

Smallest Bluegill ever!

About catching Panfish: I've been a saltwater fisherman all my life so I am used to heavy tackle and just hook 'em and haul 'em in...
I am finally getting into this freshwater stuff and really enjoy using light/ultralight rods and tackle for these smaller fish.

Plus, there is nothing like throwing a dozen or so Bream in the smoker for a few hours! Now that's good eating!

Thanks again for the responses guys! I am heading over to a small pier in the morning to see what we can pull out of the IntraCoastal!

A BAD DAY FISHING BEATS A GOOD DAY WORKING!

Great pics and good looking water. I loved drifting creeks in South Georgia and Northern Florida. The snakes weren't appealing but the fishing sure was...

I prefer panfishing in lakes over the big ones in the ocean, and I live 15 minutes way from either type of fishing. Give me the peace of fresh water fishing any day.....
