What are your thoughts on DCP (Deep Cryogenic Process) as it relates to tomahawk steel?

There is some interesting information on the web concerning this process and enhancements that can be gained, especially the info relating to increased durability in tool steel (like the 0-1 steel used in the Next Generation Ranger).

Along this subject:

There are a number of firms out there that will cryo-treat tools, knives, rifle barrels (I get all of mine done) for pretty cheap -- like $20-$50.

If we choose to cryo-treat after purchase, will this void American Tomahawk's warrantee on the hawk?
