Deep-ground, full-handled 2.5" fixed

After a several-year-long trip through folderland, I'm looking to try EDCing a fixed-blade. The problem is that campus carry in CA requires the open-carry of a <=2.5", which cuts down my options significantly. The worst part of the problem is that most 2.5" knives tend to be neckers, and I really don't want a 2- or 3-fingered EDC. I have small hands, though, so a full-handled knife shouldn't be that impossible to find.

What I'm looking for:

- <$130 (which probably limits it to production)
- 2.5" legal max (e.g., Fallkniven WM1 is out because it's 2.8")
- A full grip (>3.2" of grip length for me. e.g. the Hartsook will definitely not do.)
- Deep grind. I like my knife to cut :p, and full-flat or very high hollow grinds are definitely a must.)
- Stainless (San Diego is an ocean city). S30V preferred :p

Options I'm considering:
- Benchmade 211 (small Snody) If I get no better suggestions, this is probably what I'm going for. It is almost the perfect profile that I'm looking for; my only complaint is that the S30V version linked is slightly above budget. There is a cheaper D2 version, but that's less-stainless. It could also be longer.
- The custom Snody. This is perfect, as far as I know. However, I think demand is WAY bigger than supply at the moment, and even if one came out it'll likely be far out of range (Does anyone know, by any chance? $300? $400?)
- AG Russell Woodswalker. The really cheap, but by no means bad, option. Blade could be wider, though.
- Buck Mini-Alpha. I think the overall design looks ugly.
- Yes, Doziers and Kreins. They are amazing. They are out of my price range. :grumpy:
- Bark River PSK. Bark River Little Creek. I think the handle is a bit too small for a full grip on the PSK? Little Creek is a bit above price range, and A-2 will probably not do for ocean.
- Scandis? Maybe. But the small Scandis tend to be in-palm-carving knives, and are so very short and pudgy.

Any suggestions? Anything I've missed?

I like my BRKT PSK, yes it has a smallish handle, but I can really get a great grip on it, although it is only a 3 finger. I also have a Mini Canadian A2, and it does give a full four finger grip, lately its rotating as a work EDC. I'm not sure how A2 steel would hold up in ocean environments though. The Lil Tusk is similar in length to the Mini Canadian but has a Wharncliff blade in 12C27 S.S. http://www.dlttradingcompany.com/index.php?cPath=24_375&osCsid=e49247f5745161460985639532f3c679

I would check with Relentless Knives. They make a very nice 2 5/8 inch but seeing as each knife is made to order I imagine they could grind one 1/8 inch shorter. Also they could lengthen the grip as well. The MT2 5.5 is the model I have in mind for this. Their prices also seem very reasonable.

I seriously suggest a wharnie for Eddie White with those specs! His link is Shadowknives.com and they are amazing slicers with a deep hollow-grind!

Plus! The are custom and you can have any handle material you desire! For just about 100 dollars......

Here's mine in the center:

Here it is slicing up vinyl, it's heavy stuff but the Wharnie slices like a dream!

I'd take a look at the Mid-Tech Tom Krein Dogfish in S30V, full flat grind and as sharp a knife as you will own.

Check 'knifesshipfree' or 'DLT Trading' for a natural canvas or black canvas Micarta handled 'Mini T.U.S.K.'. 2.1" 12c27 blade - 6" OAL. I have the full-sized T.U.S.K. - it's nearly 3" blade is A-2. Great profile for a lot of typical knife-needs - woodcarving included. KSF has the nat canvas Micarta one for $125 delivered. BRK&T goodies are like custom knives - except for the waiting!
