Deep pocket clip

You can order any clip for many different knives, and have access to selection of wire clips (including deep carry wire clips). It's funny, I prefer normal pocket clips and so ordered a Manix 2 LW clip for my Slysz Bowie which comes with a deep carry from the factory.

Is it phone order only? I don't see anything online.
 
I checked Spyderco and didn't see any clips at all for the Manix 2 LW which has only one screw hole. So I guess a phone call is in order.

I put a black Sage1 clip on my S110V LW. It worked, but was not a perfect fit. The smooth patch where the clip rests in the middle of the knife is very small on the LW and the Sage1 clip was barely touching the smooth last and was more on the textured part. That is the ultimate pocket shredder right there. So what I did was file down the two tab portions of the clip that go in the grooves so the clip could reach the smooth patch better.
 
Thanks, I e-mailed Spyderco and asked about a "deep carry" clip for the Manix LW. Haven't heard back yet. But it's nice to know a std.replacement is available if necessary.
 
You may need to find a model with the clip you want then inquire about that clip. They're probably not going to understand if you just ask for a "deep carry Manix clip"
 
Got an answer from Spyderco, the clip from the Sage 123 or the Chaparral 152, which is a deep pocket carry clip will fit the Manix 2 LW. Phone order would be best as all they told me was $1.95 for shipping, no price on the clip.
Be sure to say if you prefer silver or black. I hope this helps.
Just ordered a SageC123 for $6.95 + $1.95= $8.90 in black ships tomorrow 2-3 days delivery.

they will fit BUT.

The contact point is on the lava texture and not on the bug.

It makes it a POCKET shredder. Excellent retention tho.
 
All I know is what Spyderco said to order, either the Sage C123 or Chaparral C152. I went with the Sage.
We will see.

This is good to know. I'm currently carrying a Kershaw at work instead of one of my many Spydercos because of the deep carry clip.
