I missed the "comming out" of this, so please excuse the the late question.

What is the official reason for the deep set hex drive on the former domed side of the Screw/Pin?

Noticed it on my new Insingo:D:thumbup:.

With the old design it came up after some time the female part would spin when trying to tighten the screws. So much that you would need a piece of rubber to get some grip on the female part to tighten the screws enough. Happened on my old small reg Sebenza. With the new ones that is addressed as you can just use another hex driver to stop it from spinning.

Ok, sounds like good insurance.
:)I thought for a moment it may be to help in opening a "stuck" screw when someone:rolleyes:might put Locktite on the threads.

I still kind of like the "old" screws with the chrome dome, they look like my head :(.

Thanks! Love the Insingo.....and I can spell it.

PS:
Reblasting the slabs my add "bite" to the pins, for the slipping problem??.

That is true, but reblasting cant be done by everyone when they want to and I think this is where the new design comes in. For those that use the knife for so long the bead finish is almost gone. Well that is me :D
