With the periodic one night only Ganzaa's, wouldn't it be awesome to have a RETRO-GANZAAA and have a design return from the past in its original form? Not like O2W, since it would be one night only and also different because it would be something offerred in its original INFI form, not a Battle Grade version, etc.

I am envisioning stuff like the INFI SFNO's or ASH1's or Boss Jack's from roughly ten years ago. It would give many who missed those another shot? It would also allow Busse to tap into the demand for these models that you only find now on the exchange...

I like it. They need to hold off on this just long enough for my savings account to bounce back though.ha

Misread your question, my apologies-Satin SFNO, NMSFNO, Ash-1-Guess-Will Not happen anytime soon-However this O2W thing is the New Knife Show-why be inconvenienced by travel and expenditures if you could stay put and just offer these knives on the Website? The Internet has changed many scenario's!

One thing to consider is that a lot of the release threads for these models were specified as special offers, one time only, type of deals. I doubt that Jerry will ever be persuaded to go back on that.
I'll post some examples of what I mean later today.

I've personally payed premium on the exchange to get the chance to own some of the models in the time frame you mentioned (2004-2010) and would LOOOVE to be able to complete the collection by getting a sarsquatch and a NMSFNO with the old HHFSH logo on but I seriously doubt it will ever happen by a re-release.

Nope . Not gonna happen.

Kinda be like calling chevy and asking them to make me a 62' vette .

Better chances if you just go to Blade next month if they have seven tables to fill... ;)

Thats the best idea i heard in a long time
Stuff like
ASH-1
DSF
SARsquatch
NMFSH
NMSFNO
SNFO
HG55
Game Warden
Pork Shank
TG/TGLB
MOAB/MOABOLO
All different Mistresses......well you get the idea lol
If it does ever happen, i hope we get enough notice to get a 401K loan or something :)

There MAY be an old school Ganzaaa after Blade.
But, I think it's more likely that's where the knives or the Mystery Boxes are going to come from. --- ;)

I'll take one Competition Finish Original Team Gemini with hand shaped black micarta please!

I disagree, they could likely easily run off blanks for any old model if they wanted. I would wager that they would not do anything like that though on a larger scale, since it may effect resale value of those already out there. Jerry really does care about the customers (DUH!!), I cannot see them doing this on account of this.

Bag that. I didn't spend a decade F5'ing all night & chasing knives just to see it again. LOL :D
Not to mention that the past year has been pretty retro...just in SR101. ;)

Actually I like the way it's been done for the last while. At least this way you can order something in a blade color and grip preference but the big thing is you can sleep on it at least a night instead of just buying something and then you say I wish I had ordered that one instead. ONLY thing is for me there hasn't been enough coated INFI. Just my .02 !!! SR-101 is great but I still like my INFI...

I personally think, that Jerry and the gang likes coming up with new stuff.

So they would likely think, that bringing up old stuff is boring.
