Deep woods MP3 player?

Can anybody steer me towards an MP3 player with the following criteria:
--Multi-GB Hard drive
--Runs on AA's (preferably) or AAA's

My job keeps me in a tent for weeks at a time, and in all my shopping around
the new players with hard drives seem to all have rechargeables :(

I have an older Archos Jukebox 5gig that runs on AA rechargeables. I've never put regular AA's in, but you could at least stock up on precharged AAs. I've successfully used many of the current crop of Nickle metal hydride rechargeables in it.
