I was just trying to confirm something i was told a while back . I had someone tell me that if you would boil deer antler it would become soft and flexible, and that you could shape it to whatever shape you want. Have any of you heard of this or had any experiance with this?would really be interestedin results or any info. Thanks ahead of time

It will become soft but not very flexable. I have boiled them for about an hour and with a predrilled hole, forced the tang into the antler. I don't think it would straighten it out though. I'd say try it, just make sure you have plenty of water. Mine boiled dry once and it kind of stinks up the house for a while when that happens
