We saw a lot of Doe A couple of spike's a 2 point and 3 by bull Elk. Nothing legal (3point or better):yawn:

Had a good time, Elk in 2 weeks:thumbup:

Cool pics Beatle. I’m not-so-actively archery hunting until the second week of November before gun season. I grew up spending all day in the tree stand, sun up to sun down. I don’t know how I did it. I guess when I was a kid I didn’t have anything else that I could have been doing, boy have times changed. Now I need to take a book with me or something. I start getting stir crazy. Maybe I should do like TAGannon and whip myself up a walking stick, lol.
 
Nice pictures, where were you guys at? Somehow I knew before checking your location it was Washington.

Hunting isn't really my thing, but oddly enough I've been seeing a lot of big bucks this year. Earlier in the month I was driving home on White Pass and saw one with a huge rack; kind of hard to count 'em going at 60, but this thing was bigger than the ten point rack that my uncle had hanging on his wall. Wish I could have got a picture, I thought he was an Elk at first he was so big, but he had a couple doe running around with him that were definitely deer.,
 
its the "being out there" that is the best.
like my sig line says...I count myself Blessed any time I can get out
if I don't get a bird, duck, deer, or catch a single fish...
it's usually the best days I've had since my last outing.

Great pictures. They make me want to go hunting. It's archery deer season at home, but I'm traveling on business this week. :-(
