Greetings all,
My brother came home from deer hunting this year with a nice 8 point buck, and has the salted skin (hide?). In the past he has sent it to Uber Leather in Owatonna Mn. for them to tan/dye it and it can be made into various products. Their website is www.uberleather.com
Has anyone used their services? I've seen both their gloves and slippers... they are nice. Seems a little pricey to me, after all... can order up similar from good ol' Cabela's. I am looking for anyone here that has done this, and would you do it again? He has offered the skin/hide to me.
