Deering Cruiser

Just received this Deering Cruiser

3.25" blade, 4" handle. Modeled after an opinel no 8

3/32 stock tapered. Flat ground with secondary bevel.

Ebony scales, floating white liners and aluminum pins and lanyard tube.

92 grams! (3.25 oz)

I don't have much need for a fixed blade, but that sure is a nice clean looking knife. It has nice lines and enough flash without all the spinning rims and ground effects.

Looks like it would be a nice cutter!

It is very nice and clean and very light. I use is mostly outdoors camping and specifically for long distance canoe trip

It's more loosely Inspired by perhaps, Jon Deering told me himself it was what the model was fashioned. Unfortunately I do not have an opine no 8 to out side by side
