Perfect day for a walk. I took a student I'm sponsoring from Jamaica, who arrived last night at 2:00 am from Kingston, out to the prairie for a walk in the sun. She managed to sight her first deer and was overjoyed. Then we snuck up one and got about 15 feet by it. It just swung its head and stared at us for about 1 minute. My student started to get nervous thinking, maybe this deer ain't just going to run away
Well that's exactly what it did. Sometimes it nice not having the doggies out there. You can sneak up on the wildy's so much easier!
Knives - only had my izula on me. I cut open a couple of golden rod gulls to show her the worm inside. Neither one of us was in a mood to eat one.
