Hi,

Just spotted this brand Defcon and their Proelia line. Never heard of them before.
How good/bad are they from your experience?

Thanks for your input!

I've got one of their large tanto folders, quality seems pretty good.

Opens smooth, with no play in the pivot, solid lockup.

If I saw another model of theirs I liked, based on this one, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I have the TX020RBK and like Bear Claw Chris Lappe's said its a solid knife, opens butter smooth because of the ball bearings. Its a pretty good sized knife so if you have small hands i would look elsewhere, however if you do choose this knife or already have i feel like you will not regret the purchase.

I bought one last week in a knife purchase binge, along with a high quality Chinese cleaver and a Lionsteel Kur.

This knife is amazing for its price. Opening is some of the best I've ever experienced on a flipper.
I don't like the thumb studs and the clip, but that's pretty minor and a matter of personal opinion.

I will write a deeper review if the taxman allows me to keep it, once I'll feel I can use it freely.
