First things first: As is the policy of HI shall replace those Knives that the handles have been defective.
Secondly: Thank you for the great pictures and write ups of this very serious problem.
Thirdly: I have contacted the shop in Nepal for an explanation and will let you all know what they have to say.
And last but not least I apologize again for the inconvenience and thank you again for all the help.

Speed and class:) What more could a customer ask for regarding a warranty issue. A big "thank you" to Yangdu for keeping this company so great:)

Yangdu?

You've already adressed the problem. I'm sure no one is disturbed by the RARE occurances. As I said in another thread, it just reinforces the commitment to quality we know H.I. has for its products, and that YOU have to your customers.

Please don't fret.

Be well and safe.

I think it's just a statistical normal abnormality. The dice turned up deuce. That's all.

Yup. And did you see how quickly the sharks swam in to try and get an HI blade for re-handling?:D

Wouldn't happen most other places.

I'd never seen one turn in the bolster like that. That was worth the picture.

Bad stuff happens, good people square it away. Talking about Yangdu and all of y'all that stand by her. Challenges, problems, bring 'em on, ain't nobody here skeered. Don't know if other knife companies have such fiercely loyal supporters, just don't know. But I do know, as do you, that Himalayan Imports ain't just another knife company. Git 'r done Yangdu :D

Great service is the norm here. Thanks Yangdu.

These things happen with natural handle materials from time to time. I think the big difference is HIs policy of replacing them. Top notch!

Mistakes happen. Even when things are done right, sometimes they turn out wrong. It's what we do when those things happen that define us. You're a rare jewel, Yangdu.
