Lost my blue Ladybug at the airport recently and so I replaced it with a green PE Ladybug.
The new one seems to want to open in my pocket. Sliced open the tip of my thumb the first time it happened. That one was a PITA to get to stop bleeding. The second time I saw the open blade before there was any damage. This last time, I felt a stabbing pain in my hip while seated before realizing the knife had opened yet again.
I know. I know. Hurt me once. Shame on the knife. Hurt me twice. Shame on me. I should have done something after the first injury.
What to do? I am thinking about just tapping the main pivot rivet with a brass punch to see if that will tighten it up. Of course, the problem might be in the spring/lock mechanism, so I'll have to send it back. The other option is perhaps to try a Jester.
Carried my first Ladybug (Ladybugs actually. Used to carry a CF one) for years without any problems. This one seems like trouble. Certainly, I need to do something before I wind up cutting off my willie.
