Ralph Persson and his spouse was out in the woods with his dogs when he noticed a bear.

I lack experience in this, only seen black bears. I have heard it depends on the species how to "defend" against it. Playing dead, loud noises and being "big", avoiding leaving back and neck exposed when stationary...

yeah, even on video that dude was scary. I'ma go change my shorts now. shouldn't have had the volume up so high.
 
This man was very lucky to avoid an attack from a grizzly.
