Only bad thing is, Most any defensive move looks good and easy frome by frame in slow motion without the other person trying to kill you. When I look at this band thats what I think, looks good but would take alot more practice to use it than most average people are going to do.

is gonna buy the self defense part of that weapon...It's too nasty...
A defense weapon is supposed to stop an assault, create distance or allow you to escape. This weapon requires you to get close to the your opponent, and enter a grappling match in order to deploy this weapon. You can try to play any scenario, but the bottom line is, it's a garotte.
I'm not a professional in the legal field, but my common sense opinion tells me that this weapon will earn you a manslaughter or aggravated assault charge.

I just looked at the pictures again, and I noticed that in order to nullify the threat of the opponents arms, the user of the band must execute an attack from behind. Otherwise, the opponent's arms would be totally free to attack or use a weapon.
