Hi Everybody,
I'm new so bear with me please. I've been digging around for a fixed blade that meets a certain style and is priced for practical use. Well I almost found just the knife but unfortunately it's +$500. The Defiant HT looks like an exceptional blade with is false backside, blood groove and overall simplicity. But the price really throws this blade to the collectors. Can anyone recommend a blade that can be more reasonably priced that is similar to this style? My budget is up to $150 which I think should cover a reasonable blade.

welcome to the forums!

sometimes getting the right knife means spending more than you planned.

hope you find something thats right for you.

Please use the proper term , 'fuller' rather than 'blood groove'.

Thank you all for your replies. First Mete, I will use the now known word. And moreover to Mr. Night. I was prepared to go a bit higher for a blade, especially one that you can really bond with such as the Defiant. I guess my question has needs a little refinement by asking at what point does the price of having the right knife become excessive? Of course I have to look at the practical use and how often you need this as well as the true artwork of the knife. So is it rational to spend as much on a knife as some pay for their rent? I leave this question with you. Thx
