Definition of a Double Blade

How would you classify if a knife is a double blade? I see knives with a clip on the blade is that classified as double blade? Here is an example of what I'm talking about :rolleyes:

Only if it's sharpened would I consider it a double-edge. Of course, I'm not a state legislative branch, but I don't think any state that'd ban double-edge blades would apply that to a single edge knife with an unsharpened swedge.

BTW, is there a coating on the handles on that Typhoon? Looks cool.



Wait, I see you're in the Philippines. I really don't know then.
 
Even in the US, a false edge could be construed in many jurisdictions as a true double edge--the idea being that most people can't immediately tell whether it's a false edge or a true double edge (and therefore falling into the category of 'dagger' for many areas).
