Hi,

as mentioned in a previous thread some of my knifes are going though a series of modifications. Today I got a first picture from Juergen Schanz about the current status. Juergen is the knifemaker of my choice in Germany and just a great guy to deal with. Amongst his customers are prominent folks like the King of Bahrain - and now my humble self :D For ease of reference: http://www.schanz-messer.de/en/

Better and more pics will come when I hold the knifes in my hand. This will take a while though, because I'm still stuck in the MENA Region :grumpy:

Work that has been done:

- remove upper and lower talon hole
- apply doublecut finish
- apply convex edge

The TG was amongst the first batch of busses I've bought. There was no concept behind it at all. Later I realized it was a hole lot of INFI for a really good price, what makes it a perfect candidate for modifications. The talon holes were always kind of "in the way" - not so much from a practical point of view, but esthetically (just mho). So they had to vanish. I just started focusing on collecting the combo black canvas scales + doublecut blade. As my TG already had black canvas scales I had the blade beadblasted to make it fit into my new collection line.

Actually, on the picture she is already done :o I'm sure she looks better on my pictures (coming asap).

Wow, I think I like the looks of that Team Gemini, which without the twin guards that make the team I guess is just a Gemini :p, better than the NMSFNO. Very cool!
