Degussit ruby stones.

Hello,
I have been doing a little research on different stones for sharpening, deburring and honing and found a few sites that carry Degussit ruby stones. Can anyone who has experience with them tell me what the fine stone is comparable to as well as the medium? Can you also recommend them? I have read reviews from watchmakers but would like to see opinions from knife makers or sharpeners.

I can tell you this much- the fine DeGussit ruby will leave an absolute mirror finish. I use it to sharpen hand gravers (and knives.)
The inexpensive Chinese ruby stones are coarser-but still a great buy.
